The Ethics of Lust: A Panel on the Politicization of Desire
Lust is a complicated, powerful force--we all know that. Debates between sex activists have raged for decades about the ethics of lust, a hotly contested terrain of desires and beliefs. This panel will address the complicated intersections between BDSM pornography, perceptions of violence, and queer feminist reconciliations with both. By exploring these relationships we learn about our own ethics, our own lust, and our capacity to create safe space for both.
